Colleen O’Rourke
Attorney Colleen O’Rourke is the Managing Partner of the Strategic Counsel Law Group, L.C. a Tampa law firm that helps individuals and families that require services in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration, Guardianship, and Elder Care Planning. Colleen has learned from her over thirty-five years’ experience, that protection is priceless and by listening and addressing a client’s needs with an individualized plan, she can give a client peace of mind. Many clients are members of the Family Protector Program™, a lifetime program that helps estate planning clients meet their needs through annual updates to address legal and personal changes. She has been a contributing author to the Florida Bar publication on Basic Estate Planning in Florida since 1999 and has lectured on Estate Planning in the Tampa Bay area. Colleen received her bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and her law degree from Capital Law School in Columbus, Ohio before moving to Tampa, Florida in 1985. Colleen is a member of the Penick Inn of Court, WealthCounsel, ElderCounsel, the Real Property Probate and Trust Section and the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar. She is proud of her two children, Lauren who lives in Seattle and Katie in Tampa who has just joined the firm as an attorney.
